The project
This month, our MDF 3D wall panels are honored at the french company TDF.
Our project took place in the premises of TDF for their brand new head office installation.
Our MDF 3D panels were set up on the weekend because we didn't want to disturb the employees during their work. They were laid from end to end and pre-painted in a workshop before the installation.

Our project took place in the premises of TDF for their brand new head office installation.
Our MDF 3D panels were set up on the weekend because we didn't want to disturb the employees during their work. They were laid from end to end and pre-painted in a workshop before the installation.
The idea was 4 different patterns for 4 floors of the tower, but also a common design for all the patterns reminding a wave. The panels were placed at the 2 entrances of each floor with a specific color for the 2 accesses. Some furnitures like chairs or lockers with a color similar to the walls have been placed next to them and the effect is fantastic !
Located in a frequent passage way, our vivid colored MDF 3D panels provide a warm welcoming.
The patterns of these wall coverings are carved directly into the block which offers a spectacular dimension to the room. And last, but not least the lights and shadows bring the reliefs of the design out for a perfect result.
Why these choices ?
We will now explain why the client made these choices of location, color and design.
Firstly, the place is not only a gateway, but it is also an opening onto the rest of each floors of the building. It is the first and last room that the employees will see.
Then, for the paint, we didn't consider white or black panels because colors were very important in the process. Indeed the beautiful and vivid color of the panels provide a warm welcoming and bring good mood to everyone.
At the end, you can notice that the design of the patterns are quite similar with each other because we wanted to keep a certain coherence. However their differences make them also unique, but to understand why this choice of wave and ripple design has been made, you have to know the french company TDF. TDF is specialized in television and radio transmission services, but also services for telecommunications operators. Now the pattern is making sense when you can observe the link between the telecommunications and the walls waves.
Tips for achieving it at home
The installation at home is very simple and can be achieved by everyone. The MDF 3D panels are made of engineered wood and sawdust bounded with glue, which make the cut easier. Indeed, you will just need a circular saw or a jigsaw but the first one is better for perfect cutting results.
Then you have to choose the good spot to install these 3D panels, preferably indoors, and our little advice is to place it in a hall or a corridor to ensure a maximum exposure and visibility.
Finally, to apply the panel on the wall, you will need a quick-setting adhesive mastic for any support.
Now it is the time to start benefiting from your new interior design in 3D !
Here are some pictures of our models 005, 006, 015 and 020.
